These terms apply when paid case access is made available through Divide. They form part of the Terms of Use.
1. Free exploration
A case may be explored without payment up to 50 combined active records across the whole case. The count is shared between both participants and includes inventory records, financial assets, liabilities and responsibilities.
At the limit, existing records may remain viewable and editable, but new records, professional-access features, reports and other paid functionality may be locked until payment.
2. Price
The launch price for paid case access is $247 including GST.
All prices are in Australian dollars. The price displayed at checkout is the price that applies to the transaction.
3. Who can pay
Either Participant A or Participant B may pay. One successful payment activates paid access for the whole case and benefits both participants.
Payment does not give the payer greater ownership, control, legal entitlement or authority over the case.
The main report may identify the payer's name, payment date and amount paid. This is an administrative record only and is not relevant to legal ownership or settlement entitlement.
4. What payment provides
Unless checkout states otherwise, payment provides:
- 12 months of full paid case access from successful payment and activation;
- access to the paid case features shown in the app;
- eligibility for authorised professional access and reports where available; and
- a further 12-month read-only archive after the paid period.
There is no subscription, automatic renewal or recurring charge.
5. Payment processing
Payments are intended to be processed by Stripe. You authorise Stripe and us to process the transaction and related fraud, verification, receipt and refund information.
You must use a payment method you are authorised to use. Divide does not intend to store full card numbers.
A payment is complete only when we receive confirmation and activate the case entitlement. If payment is taken but activation fails, contact support@divideapp.com.au. We will investigate and either activate the purchased access or provide an appropriate remedy.
6. Duplicate and failed payments
If you believe you were charged twice, contact us promptly with the case reference and payment details. We will investigate and refund a verified duplicate charge.
A declined, reversed, disputed or fraudulent payment does not activate or may suspend paid access. We may preserve relevant transaction and case records while a chargeback or fraud review is underway.
7. Access expiry and archive
Paid access expires 12 months after activation. We intend to send reminders before expiry.
After expiry, the case may move to a 12-month read-only archive. Existing reports may remain downloadable during that archive without an additional retrieval fee.
Either participant may reactivate the case for another 12 months at the price displayed at that time. Reactivation is optional and is not automatic.
After the archive period, we intend to give at least 30 days' notice before planned deletion, subject to legal, safety, privacy, fraud, dispute and chargeback holds.
8. Change of mind
Because users can explore a case before paying and paid access is supplied digitally, we do not ordinarily provide a refund merely because a user changes their mind after paid access has been activated.
This does not exclude any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot be excluded.
9. Service problems and Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the nature of a failure, you may be entitled to a remedy such as correction, re-supply, cancellation, refund or compensation as provided by law.
We will assess refund and remedy requests fairly, including where:
- payment succeeded but the case was not activated;
- the same transaction was charged more than once;
- a paid feature was materially unavailable and could not be remedied within a reasonable time;
- the Service had a major failure; or
- another remedy is required by law.
10. How to request help or a refund
Email support@divideapp.com.au with:
- your name;
- case reference;
- payment date and amount;
- a description of the issue; and
- any relevant Stripe receipt or transaction reference.
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may depend on Stripe and the financial institution.
11. Changes
We may change future prices. A price change does not alter an already activated paid period. Reactivation is charged at the price shown when the reactivation purchase is made.
